When I was first asked to take a family portrait for the Kramer family, my initial response was "no".
I haven't done anything like this in over a year, it was the holidays and I didn't want to miss out on time with my family, it's hard to plan out a nursing schedule to leave the baby...
My excuses go on.
But when I heard that the reason they needed a family portrait was because the mother had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor and stage 4 terminal breast cancer, there was no hesitation.
Of course I would take the pictures!
This sweet mother of 4 is in the middle of her chemo treatments, but went out there like a true trooper, looking more gorgeous than ever, and held herself beautifully for every crazy idea I had.
I tried to remember that she didn't feel well and cut almost everything as short as I possibly could.
With some extreme divine intervention, I was VERY happy with our end product.
